Alexus D’Marco is a Bahamian human rights defender who founded the D’Marco Foundation in 2015 and co-founded the United Caribbean Trans Network. As lead spokesperson for Bahamas Transgender Intersex United, she launched the ‘Bahamian Trans Lives Matter’ campaign for equal access to healthcare, education, and employment.
